THE DRIFTLESS AREA WETLANDS CENTRE
Mission: To provide a unique learning experience that connects people to the natural world and empowers them to positively impact their local environments.
- Environmental education facility staffed to provide environmental education programs highlighting the biology, ecology and geology of the unique Driftless Area
- Visitor Center featuring with wetlands, prairie, wildlife displays and animals native to the Driftless Area. The visitor center is open to the public at no cost.
- Community gathering space with large covered plaza that is ADA compliant and available for rentals by private groups and organizations
We work cooperatively with area conservation agencies and organizations such as US Fish and Wildlife, Scouts and Clayton County Conservation.

WETLAND EXPLORERS - NATURE TOTS
Wednesday, April 5th from 10am-11am
Bring your young ones out for our wetland explorer program where we explore the wonders of nature through indoor and outdoor activities. First Wednesday of the month. Ages 2-5. April Theme - Aqua Charades.
SPRING VENDOR FAIR - SHOP & HOP MCGREGOR & MARQUETTE
Saturday, April 8th from 10AM-2PM
Come out to the Wetlands Centre during the Shop & Hop McGregor & Marquette event and shop from a variety of vendors. Our gift shop will be open with lots of great nature-oriented gifts for kids, just in time for Easter!
WELCOME SPRING & EASTER EGG HUNT
Saturday, April 15th from 10am-12pm
Bring the family out to welcome spring at the Wetlands Centre with hands-on nature activities, nature scavenger hunt and our annual Easter Egg Hunt. Arrive any time between 10-noon (no set egg hunt times).
